SHNN cabinet
The low-voltage cabinet type SHNN is designed for equipping transformer substations and distribution points with a voltage of 380/220 V AC, frequency of 50 Hz with a solidly grounded neutral, used for receiving and distributing electric energy, as well as for protecting cable lines from overloads and short-circuit currents of outgoing lines, from 8 to 12 groups (the number of outgoing lines can be increased upon individual order).
Purpose:
The low-voltage cabinet type SHNN is designed for equipping transformer substations and distribution points with a voltage of 380/220 V AC, frequency of 50 Hz with a solidly grounded neutral, used for receiving and distributing electric energy, as well as for protecting cable lines from overloads and short-circuit currents of outgoing lines, from 8 to 12 groups (the number of outgoing lines can be increased upon individual order).
Features and Benefits: 1. When increasing the capacity of existing transformer substations and transformer substations, the use of this type of SNP provides significant savings in useful space due to the small dimensions of the cabinets; 2. Installing disconnectors directly on cabinets allows to reduce the amount of installation work at the facility; 3. Fuses of the PPN type are installed in switches (switch-fuses) of the ARS series (manufactured by APATOR), Vertigroup (manufactured by WEBER) - low-voltage switches (up to 690 V), developed taking into account modern requirements and using high-quality insulating and conducting materials. Switches with protection function completely replace the design consisting of a conventional switch, cables, and fuse holders. Terms of Use:

ShNN cabinet design:
The design of the SHNN cabinet is a welded metal frame made of profiled angles and metal sheets.
The electric energy metering and street lighting and heating sections are equipped with hinged doors. The electric energy metering section door has openings that allow reading the meters without opening the section door.
A canopy is installed on top of the SHNN cabinet on the front side, on which the electrical measuring devices are mounted. The canopy provides protection against contact with open current-carrying buses.
All elements of the case are powder-coated in the customer's color scheme. Metal coatings meet the requirements of GOST 9.301-86. The outer and inner surfaces of the frame are primed and painted in accordance with the requirements of GOST 9.032-74, GOST 15150-90 and SNiP 2.03.11-85.
Operational maintenance is performed from the front of the cabinet. The outputs from the devices of the outgoing lines are made by cable. The structure and operating principle of the SHNN:
The 0.4 kV voltage from the power transformer is supplied via aluminum busbars to the input device, which is used to switch the substation on and off from the low-voltage side and to protect the transformer from short circuits and overloads. After the input device, busbar jumpers are installed to enable the installation of current transformers. Then the voltage is supplied to the busbars. From the busbars, the voltage is supplied to the devices of the outgoing lines, and then via cable to the consumer.
Measuring instruments, including meters, are recommended to be installed in such a way that their scales are located at a height of no more than 2100 mm from the floor.
